I don’t text and drive, but if I get a call from my boss and I’m effective I have to answer it. I’m not about to get fired because some people can’t talk on the cell and drive which is really simple to do anyways!!

Buck, I have developed an app for the andriod phone called Text Angel. The blocks text messages when pouring. It works by GPS, senses when you go over 5 MPH and blocks texting receive,send or conception. Works real fantastic and it has parental controls som it can not be disabled. Glad to hear that you are making the effort to change…we need to get more people on board. Check out the video on our channel about not texting and pouring, a project we helped young adulthood make. It only takes a second of looking away to potentially take your life or the life of someone else. The message can wait!
The only era I use a phone even as pouring are when I am completely stopped at a red light/stop sign and am not land anyone up. As soon as I want to go again, the texting stops completely and I focus 100% on pouring. I never make exception to this rule.
As for talking & pouring, I only talk with speaker phone on when I am lost and getting directions. I never chat even as pouring or go through business talks on the phone even as pouring any.
I don’t even have internet on my phone.

I lock my phone in the Glove box and the only way to access it is to place the van in park and take the key out and unlock it. This way if i feel the urge to look at my phone i cant.
