Tredegar Comprehensive School and Gwent Control (Gwent is located in south-east Wales,UK) present a half hour drama entitled ‘COW’ –Thе film that will ѕtοр you from texting and pouring,” with SPECIAL EFFECTS BY ZIPLINE CREATIVE www.ziplinecreative.co.uk (thіѕ is a trailer video) COW: Itѕ all about Cassie COWan a nice girl from a Gwent valleys family who kіƖƖѕ four people on the road because she used her mobile and lost her concentration for a few seconds. Gwent control is proud to have hеƖреԁ Brynmawr filmmaker Peter Watkins- Hughes in the production, which stars local drama students Jenny Davies as Cassie, and Amy Ingram and Laura Quantick as her friends, Emm and Jules. It is hoped this film will become part of the core schools programme crosswise Wales and the UK and ultimately worldwide. Gwent Control facilitated the films thump scenes because we want to ѕtοр ALL drivers, but particularly young and new ones, from causing accidents. Over 300 teenagers from all over Wales were auditioned to take part in the film, nine control vehicles were involved and both the control and air ambulance helicopters featured. State of the art digital special effects were utilised to ѕhοw the impact of what would happen inside the car during impact. a few days ago i was at a store and i saw a huge thump with 4 cars it turns out some people were drunk and some people were txting and the thump was huge and thier was piles and piles of blood that i still see blood on that street and the sad business is that all the people in the 4 cars all died it was so sad
and ya know whats pathetic…that ppl who text and drive will mind this video and STILL go out and text even as pouring..this should open ppls eyes about it but sadly it most likely wont for some of them
This can happen with anything. eating even as pouring. talking on the damn PHONE. I really do get sick with the stigma young people get with pouring when many adults are just as guilty with not being paying unique attention drivers any. jez sayin

This happens each day. People texting even as pouring should be banned from pouring permanently. Same goes for drink-drivers. The roads are too crowded to be that selfish and ignorant.
Damn. That’s some pretty hardcore stuff. A commercial like this would certainly scare someone into Not texting or talking on the phone even as they’re pouring. Hell, if we had stuff like this ain the U.S., I bet the number of road casualties in the works from idiots cellphones would decrease significantly.
If people saw things how they REALLY happened, like this, and not the dimmed-down version our commercials give, things like this may be taken more seriously.
This should be shown to everyone ancient enough for a cell phone, driver’s license, or any one who sees their driver using a cell phone even as pouring. I despise hearing people say how teenagers shouldn’t see stuff like that, because that teaches it’s okay to text and drive, next business you know, “said” teenager (or phone user) is in a car thump and killed someone due to their cell phone. I don’t text or use my phone even as pouring to start with and I for sure as hell won’t after seeing this video.

Take it from me. One of my closest childhood friends died on March 27 because she was texting and lost control of her truck. She was an only child and now her parents have to drive past the house she died each single day. I miss her so much, and I wish I could go back and make her know that her life was more vital than a text message.
If they showed this in the US then I reflect people will really realize that texitng and pouring is not just a ticket-able offense it is a fatal offense. I wouldn’t want to be the cause of someone’s fatality just because they texted me.
@jonnybird11 ik they need to show this..in my pouring school our teacher was like i saw a fantastic video of the dangers of txting even as pouring n we were all like wow.

@Alpacajon We do have PSAs here and some of them cover the topic of safe pouring, just not this particular ad. (But most PSAs that I’ve seen are usually about drugs or domestic violence.)
