Okay – I get that the young lady was in the incorrect, causing the accident by drifting into the other lane as a result of texting. So… was the other driver fucking retarded or something? He/she sees an oncoming vehicle drift into their lane, and just fucking drives into it? How about that third driver, who apparently forgot where their brakes were?

It’s not really that unrealistic, though. What they did is exactly what texters do–steer in the direction of their phone, causing them to go in that direction and hit oncoming cars. That’s why you see so many people nowadays hovering too far right in their lanes… because usually people use their right hand for the phone, or the Ipod… because lacking realizing it, people steer where they are putting their attention.
i have to do a peraussive speech for my class on textin and drivin, and i want to show this video. people really need to pay attention to what they r doin…the sad part was when they showed the small baby :’(
They need to show a version of this in the US. So many era I see people texting or talking on their cell phones, not only when I myself am pouring, but when I mind my kids ride their bikes.
